Prosthetics runs in my family. I know way too much about it. The best ones come from Germany because WWI. So we are not only seeing a chance for people to live extended lives in robot bodies, but to replace stuff on their real bodies. God, to be able to emulate someone before Alzheimer's took them down, and then just stick the emulator where the failed brain used to be! To get my buddy out of his wheelchair and up where he hasn't been since he was 16.
And I bet if you had a whole lot of emulated brains to copy from, you could sit down and write an emulated person from scratch, like a novel.
Today's ridiculous robot proves the only thing that can stop a bad robot is another robot with a death ray.
