A place to just chill and talk about whatever comes to mind1 Has anyone seen any good movies lately? I'm still not over Pacific Rim, which I actually found out about through Blue. I'm hoping to go to the convention in May, but I'm not sure my parents will let me.

I tried Pacific Rim. The story is great, the names of the Gundam (sorry, they really look like Gundam) are all great... But why oh why did they not use some actors who could at least FAKE Aussie accents, if not Australian actors? Every other country they can apparently treat with some respect, but the Aussies in Eureka were, as far as we could make out, Brits, faking South African accents. Why the HELL not at least have them speak Australian? Is it THAT hard to tell the difference? Is it that hard to at least TRY? And otherwise it was such a good film, with great story and names and ideas!
Loved it all, felt insulted and let down by the poor to nonexistant portrayal of Australia. Wow was that poorly handled. It's as bad as when Rise of the Guardians came out: At least he spoke Australian, but my GOD, do they not know that in Oz, rabbits don't even bring eggs? Bilbys do! Let alone Easter, for us, being an autumn event.
...heh. I guess I let my patriotism out in the weirdest ways.
So on a more positive note, I've been rewatching the Back to the Future movies. They have a little in common with Als plight, really. He's in the future. Haven't seen any flying time travelling steam engines yet though.

Oh yeah, the Easter Bilby! When will he have his own movie? Move over, Shrek. Voice by who though?

This is a test of robot irritability. The signs of life are motility, irritability, and reproduction.

I am pretty sure this model of robot will never catch on. No, wait, it would be perfect for a fraternity house. Never mind.

We need to get more commenters to come to the forum from the main page. Today's ridiculous crapbot is everyone's favorite happy, crack-smoking mayor, the Rob Fordbot.
